The Bus & Coach Show - 18th March (including Leyland National 40th Anniversary*)
Whether reliving the experience of a bygone age of bus and coach travel or see what modern coaching holidays have to offer. This event will be of interest to everyone. Heritage bus service operating on the day.

Leyland Beer Festival - 29th March to 1st April
Over thirty different specialist beers will be available together with ciders, lagers, wines and non- alcoholic drinks. Experience your favourite drink or try some different ones whilst sitting amongst the fascinating vehicles on display.
The Meccano, Dinky and Hornby Exhibition - 14th & 15th April
Models from these three great British manufacturers are displayed, both signally and in full period layouts. Children of all ages will be fascinated by this event bringing back childhood memories of a more relaxed age long before computer games.
Ghost Seekers at Night - 19th May
Experience a spooky night at the Museum with the Sixth Sense Ghost Team. The Museum is gaining a reputation for this most enjoyable nocturnal event. “A most absorbing evening”, is the comment from one visitor.
Classic & Vintage Ford Day - 22nd April
Ford cars buses trucks and tractors of all ages reminding us of the diversity and longevity of this major company, which started manufacture in the UK in the early 1900s. This event will bring back memories of the Ford Popular, Anglia or Escort not to forget, the Z Cars, Cortinas, Capris, Consuls, Sierras and Granadas. You can even see brand new Fords.
Steam at the Museum* - 29th April
Everything for the Steam enthusiast all in one place. Steam lawnmowers, steam lorries, steam traction engines, both full size and in model form will be on show and perhaps operating!
The Classic Vehicle Show* - 13th May
Cars, vans, and lorries of all shapes sizes and age are on display in two display areas giving plenty of opportunity to take photographs and talk to their owners. This is a real opportunity to take a look inside and out of over one hundred vehicles.
The Vintage & Classic Motorcycle Show - 10th June
Motorcycles from all over the North West gather at the Museum to display their fineries. Every machine is a classic and has a story to tell. Definitely an event for Dads and Lads.
The American Road Show & Supercar / Hot Rod Day - 17th June
This is everything American – which means it is big and brash. Expect to see huge trucks, glamorous supercars and fiery hotrods. Make sure that you bring your camera for this very colourful day.
Leyland Transport Festival - 7th & 8th July
(including Leyland Society Gathering)
Enjoy a real family weekend full of fun and activities including a Heritage vehicle parade, strong man vehicle pull, vehicle demonstrations, stalls, circus, live music, and competitions.

VW All Comers Day* - 29th July
These vehicles illustrate the pedigree that has established the world wide reputation of VW. Most people have a VW car story in their past, whether its owning the ubiquitous Beetle or hoping to see the world from within a VW Camper Van.

The Great British Lorries & Military Vehicles Jubilee* - 12th August
It is an impressive sight to see how many different types of vehicles have been manufactured in Britain over the past 120 years. Come and read the names of operators from across Britain. Understanding how they were operated in a bygone era is a real education.
The 1960s / 70s Weekend* - 15th & 16th September
Unashamedly nostalgic, relive the magic of these vibrant years with vehicles, music, fashion and photographs, from your youth! Or come and have a look at what granddad used to get up to!
The Autumn Model Transport Show - 21st October
Models of all shapes and sizes are displayed amongst full size vehicles inside the Museum. As well as static displays, remote control models show their manoeuvrability and speed. This is the event to give you ideas for Christmas presents or perhaps find dads and lads something to do during the long winter nights!
